Adventures before Dementia

A new site was not something we had envisaged but my computer bought in 2015 and now designated “vintage” by Apple suffered (according to Apple) terminal problems over the last few months causing such annoyance and frustration that I finally bit the bullet and purchased a new computer and looked forward to getting the web site up to date. Unfortunately after migrating everything on the old computer to the new I discovered that neither of the two things I use the laptop for (for everything else I use an iPad), web authoring and photo editing worked.

After a lot of mucking around I finally got the photo editing software to operate but the web authoring software, purchased around 2011, is simply not compatable with the latest super dooper computers and it would appear that so few people still use this type of software that the designer no longer supports it.

Oh well, I have had to come kicking and screaming into the modern age and go to the web based author WordPress. I am currently trying to climb a very steep learning curve so bear with me.
